A few words about me

RNDr. Ján Kondáš, MBA

I have been working in Corporate Communications/Corporate Affairs for more than 20 years and recently my professional interest has been focused on reputation building of profit and non-profit organisations. Having had the privilege of working for Slovak, Czech, German, British and American companies, I have become familiar with their corporate cultures and management styles. Many of these companies are listed on international stock exchanges, which brought specific requirements for transparency and comprehensiveness of the communications I managed. Working in these companies taught me the importance of sustainability and the irreplaceable role of diversity and inclusion in shaping modern corporate cultures. During my career I have gained a lot of experience in change management and transformation of companies and organisations.

 Building a company's reputation

The main task of Corporate Communications is to support the company's reputation. Of course, a company's reputation is influenced by many activities that are not directly part of Corporate Communications - for example, the quality of products and services offered, pre- and post-sales customer care. It is in these 4 key areas that Corporate Communications plays an important role and is essential for building and maintaining a company's reputation:

Internal and External Communications
Change Management and Transformation
Sustainability and ESG
Employer Branding and Employee Engagement

I am happy to offer the following services and solutions in these areas:

  • Creating a system for evaluating the effectiveness of external and internal communications.

The use of AI tools in Corporate Communications

Generative AI tools provide not only time-saving benefits but also the ability to scale and personalize communication efforts, leading to more effective and engaging Corporate Communication. However, it's essential to use these tools responsibly, ensuring that the generated content aligns with the company's brand, values, and ethical guidelines. My expertise in field of generative AI tools used in Corporate Communications includes for example:

  • Content Generation: Generative AI can create written content, such as press releases, blog posts, and social media updates, to save time and effort for communication professionals. This is particularly helpful for producing consistent and high-quality content.

  • Creating Presentations: Artificial intelligence can be utilised to produce text and graphics for reports and presentations, elevating the quality of visual communication.

  • Analysing Employee data: By utilizing AI to analyse employee data, you can gain a more comprehensive understanding of their needs, preferences, and opinions. This, in turn, can result in improved internal communication and heightened employee satisfaction.

  • Translations: Generative AI can quickly and accurately translate content into multiple languages, which is essential for global companies communicating with international audiences. It ensures that messages are accurately conveyed in different regions.

Improving the communication skills of company management

The communication skills of managers, especially those at the top, are an integral part of their successful leadership. However, even today we often see the director communicating with his staff only by e-mail. Every leader should have his or her own unique but cultivated communication style, based on the selection of appropriate communication channels to reach the target audience most effectively. Let me offer you the following support to improve the communication skills of managers:

  • Analysis of the manager's communication skills.

  • Suggestions on how to strengthen the communication skills that will help to create an authentic managerial communication style.

  • Proposing the use of different communication tools according to the type of communication required (operational vs. strategic).

  • Communication Coaching and Mentoring according to the individual needs of the manager.
